Public Privare Partnerships (PPP) for Infrastructure Projects
This course of ‘Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for Infrastructure Projects’ will assist in
understanding what is Infrastructure, how much finance is required for the development and
management of infrastructure, and what are financing options available and being opted.
Public-Private Partnership, as an approach has been adopted for infrastructure development and
management, internationally and nationally. This basic course covers the reasons for opting PPP
by various National Governments across the world, how PPP definition has evolved? what is the
structure of PPP, its framework, and its process? The course concludes by sharing national and
international websites on PPP.
This online course on PPP for Infrastructure Projects comprises of three modules :
(i) Infrastructure an introduction
(ii) Infrastructure financing
(iii) PPP for infrastructure projects
Each module has well-defined objectives and learning from the module. Elements of Watch, Think,
Do, Explore and Test are inbuilt in each module. An assessment to assess the level of one’s
learning from the course is available at the end of the course.
Intended Audience: This course is designed for officers who have the interest to recap their
knowledge on infrastructure or eager to learn about infrastructure, to know how funds and latest
technical know-how is organized for development and management of Infrastructure by different
levels of Governments, which now, are playing the role of a facilitator instead of their earlier
role of providers.
